Practice Safe Software...

"I'll have what she's having..." [unless it's what Equifax had].
One need not look further than the Equifax breach disaster to fully appreciate the importance of practicing "safe software." That is, of course, running updates and installing patches when they're available to address vulnerabilities that are exposed--and exploited--over time.
There are lots of Software Asset Management (SAM) tools available in the marketplace today...and most of them are very comprehensive (if, ironically, you keep them updated). Like so many other applications, however, their integration capabilities with the other tools you need to manage your environment are generally lacking. What does that mean to you? Similar to our recent article, The Sticky Mess of SaaP (Software as a Problem), you risk only getting half the picture--and half the solution--by relying solely on alerts and notifications of patches or updates due. Truly comprehensive security considers device location, role, user activity, and interaction with other devices, applications, and workflows. Does your SAM do that? Nope...I didn't think so.
Luckily, ATLAS AI was designed and built to do just that. By integrating with the SAM you already use, we can show you the applications running on each device, where they are, and how they interact with the rest of your environment. We'll also give you insight into cross-application engagement with our onboard BI tools. Bottom line, you'll know whether you need to update, patch or even if you can get rid of software installations...before they become a problem.
Cybersecurity is an increasingly critical part of enterprise operations. Unlike Sally in the restaurant (see below), you can't fake this. You're either going to secure your environment or you won't. And, unlike Harry, hackers can tell if you're serious or not. Let us show you how we can help.
