All Food Must Go to the Lab For Testing...

Context is everything. It provides the all-important frame of reference to discriminate between two similar appearing items. And that's good, because without context, differences can be vast...and outcomes very misleading. Just ask the guy who thought his cheeseburger was being checked for food safety...

It's exactly the same for data.

Data, in the absence of context, is useless. Yet organizations waste the potential benefit from the massive amounts of data produced by their people, processes, and technology every day because they don't have a mechanism to apply context and, in turn, convert it to actionable information. Measuring "when," "where," and "how" something occurs is good for little more than creating a scatter plot. Even a large sample of data, absent the meaning behind it, fails to produce any operational value. Discover WHY something happens, on the other hand, and all the data feeding in (or coming out) takes on real value. The search for "why" is precisely the reason Business Intelligence (BI) is so critical to organizations—it provides a framework for context and makes data actionable.

That's where we come in.

ATLAS AI's onboard Business Intelligence (BI) tools—a suite of both proprietary algorithms and a configurable world class BI engine—give both context and form to all the data produced by any process, workflow, or organization and presents it in an easy to understand format.  In fact, BI like our Lifecycle Leaderboard not only provides insight into good strategic decisions, it actually guides you through the process of making them.

So keep collecting data, but don't get lulled into a false sense of security thinking that a huge database of asset experience—but no context—gives you the insight necessary to make data-driven decisions. That's probably the furry, four-legged friend talking. Ready for real BI for your asset management initiatives? Shoot us an email and we'll show you how.
